Purpose of Strategy

 

Self-Regulated Strategy Development enables students to learn strategies to become more independent academically while monitoring their own behaviors.

 

Rationale of Lesson

 

This lesson will focus on Self-Regulated Strategy Development, students will be taught an expository comprehension writing strategy in tandem with the mnemonic TWA+PLANS to self-regulate their writing.
